Czech companies exhibited their products as part of the Czech pavilion organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Phnom Penh. Visitors got acquainted with products to contribute for the sustainable development in Cambodian provinces, as well as to pace with the rapid development introducing safety features for residential and office areas in big cities.

Two of three Czech companies – Dekonta and IPR Aqua presented their technologies for the waste water treatment, such as so called “constructed wetland”. In August 2019, they handed over their first project in Siem Reap in a bid to supply similar wastewater facilities to potential users, such as hotels and resorts. When it comes to the third – Jablotron introduced various smart home and office devices, including security alarms, protection and vehicle security systems.

In order to complement the Czech participation at the exhibition, Mr. Štěpán Vojnár, chargé d´affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, had participated at the seminar on enhancing development of SMEs, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Handicrafts in the margins of the fair, to introduce potential Czech products for Cambodia. “Czech Republic is one of the leading exporters of technologies in the sector of water and sanitation and IT equipment as well. However, we are also able to present our offer in a number of other sectors ranging from technologies for energy sector, mining, agriculture, food-processing or healthcare”.
