1985 - Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague and joined the Consular Department of the Czechoslovak Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prague
1988 – 1991 - Third Secretary/Consul of the Embassy of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic in Moscow, former USSR
1991 – 1992 - Consular Department of the Czech and Slovak Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prague
1993 – 1994 - From January 1st, 1993, Acting Consul General, Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Istanbul, Turkey
