Discussion with the writer Laurent Binet about his book on the assassination of Heydrich

On 21 May 2013 an evening discussion took place with French writer Laurent Binet over his successful historic novel HHhH about the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich in 1942.

The event was organized by the Lilieslief Trust, the Johannesburg Holocaust and Genocide Centre, the French Institute in the Republic of South Africa and the Embassy of the Czech Republic. The meeting took place in the full house of the Lilieslief Trust centre in Johannesburg, which lies on the erstwhile farm with the same name, where the members of the antiapartheid movement were hiding in the 1960s. The novel HHhH has been translated into more than 20 languages including the Czech and Hebrew.
