During the evening there was a presentation on glassblowing by Czech glassmakers in Red Hot Glass Studio, esp. by the renowned glassmaker Mr. Petr Novotný, followed by jazz music performed by concert duo M. Simpson (piano) and R.L. Jepson (saxophone). South African wine tasting with refreshments took place in the Spice Route Restaurant; guests tasted local wines from glasses of Czech production. We thank Mrs. Elsie Pells for lending the glasses for this event. The event was also attended by the delegation of deputies and senators of the Czech Parliament.
