Invitation: 13th International Symposium "Czech Foreign Policy"

The Institute of International Relations in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic cordially invites you to attend the 13th International Symposium "Czech Foreign Policy", themed Post-pandemic Foreign Policy: Strengthening Resilience, Prospects, and Pitfalls.

The 13th International Symposium on the Czech Foreign Policy themed “Post-Pandemic Foreign Policy: Strengthening Resilience, Prospects and Pitfalls” will deliver a broad exchange of perspectives and scientific research on building resilient key actors, institutions and mechanisms against external influences and threats.

The topics will be disccused and analysed on three main levels:
The international system and the sustainability of international norms and rules confronted by alternative and non-democratic forces.
The state level and fostering national interest while sharing best practices in countering shared challenges.
The individual level, which taps into the choices of citizens and strengthening of civil society.
Simultaneously, the outcomes of this event could possibly lead to valuable policy recommendations for the upcoming 2022 Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
