The purpose of the event was to promote both Czechia and its companies active in South Africa. The event was held in partnership with CZUB (Česká zbrojovka a.s.) company. Other Czech companies represented at the event were AURA, ERA, and ELMET. All of the 88 participants, including representatives of the SANDF, DIRCO, and members of the diplomatic corps, enjoyed the eventful day and returned home with loads of memories to cherish. The day's highlight was the gala dinner with an abundance of prizes for participants, including overnight getaways and trophies by famous Czech glass artist Mr Lukáš Jabůrek. The Charity raffle and Auction proceeds worth R 30,000 were handed over to the Loveline Arts Foundation and Friends of Morokweng Library Centre.
