Proceeds of the Czechia's Charity Golf Day 2021 benefit local communities

The traditional Czechia Charity Golf Day took place this year on 24 March. The event brought together a broad spectrum of participants ranging from leading Czech and South African companies to DIRCO, SANDF and diplomatic corps representatives. All 88 participants enjoyed the great program, and during the gala dinner, a charity raffle and auction took place. 

Thanks to the generosity of the participants Czechia CZ Golf Day 2021 raised the charity raffle and auction R30 000 which were equally split between two NPOs, namely Loveline Arts Foundation, represented by Ms Loveline Madumo-Sathekge, and Friends of Morokweng Library Centre, represented by Mr Percy Maropedi Koji, and benefited local households and pupils of the Bophelo Impilo Community School. The items auctioned included luxurious weekend getaways to Victoria Falls and local lodges kindly donated by Mr Dave Roberts from the Green Rhino Travel Africa.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic hereby expresses its gratitude towards all those who made this event and the following charity work possible.
