On this occasion there was a KSF military parade organized on the premises of Adem Jashari military base, accompanied by a broad general public attention. The event was attended by the top state officials - President Atifete Jahjaga, Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, KSF Minister Agim Ceku, Chief of Staff Gen. Kadri Kastrati - KFOR Commander Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, representatives of other international institutions in Kosovo, and representatives of the diplomatic corps, defense attachés etc. President Jahjaga in her speech underlined that following the recently completed Strategic Security Sector Review the KSF in the upcoming period will be focused on further professionalization fully in line with NATO standards, in order to enter the North Atlantic Alliance one day.
