Czech Development Aid helps blind children in Kosovo

The Czech Development Aid Project in 2021 will be implemented on a platform of cooperation with the Kosovo Association of the Blind and the Xheladin Deda  Resource Center in Peja.

The Center is the only institution in Kosovo specializing in education and assistance to blind and partially sighted children from preschool age up to young people of high school age. Its students, thanks to the Czech financial aid, will have the opportunity to use new braille machines, organizers and also a new braille printer for study.

The implementation of the joint project started on March 9, 2021 by signing of the Agreement between the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the Kosovo Association of the Blind. The agreement was signed by the Head of the Czech Embassy, Mr. Pavel Bílek and by the Chairman of the Kosovo Association of the Blind, Mr. Daut Tishuki.
