In the COVID-19 unprecedented health crisis, you, the people of Kosovo, are showing resilience and responsibility. While we all look forward to a carefully planned return to normality as soon as this is viable, your perseverance remains necessary to reduce the impact of the outbreak and prevent an even more serious crisis.

In the face of this global pandemic, politics must be put aside and political actors must work together to ensure that citizens, without distinction, receive the needed medical assistance and economic support.

International and regional cooperation can only enhance this effort; all regional cooperation initiatives should be viewed positively. We call on political and institutional leaders in Kosovo to support all national and international efforts to mitigate the social and economic impact of Coronavirus and to refrain from politicising valuable and necessary international assistance.
