Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, Prague - Two-Year English-Language Master's Degree Programme
 

The programme seeks to explore the dynamic relationship between international politics and human geography, focusing on essential theories, thinkers and regions. It combines the strengths of the Institute of Political Studies’ strongest departments, Political Geography and Security Studies to create a unique opportunity for students to focus on key aspects of today’s Political studies.

The students will be encouraged to make connections between different fields of study, learning to combine a global perspective with attention to detail and local interests. This programme is an excellent stepping stone in developing an academic career in the field of political science, as well as a valuable source of analytical skills and practical background knowledge that can be applied in professional life.

How to apply: Go to www.fsv.cuni.cz and apply online. The early admissions deadline is the end of February. The regular deadline is 30th April of each year.

All applications must include:

  • Copy of a diploma to show completed Bachelor's or Master's studies, or confirmation of ongoing studies in the academic year that those studies will be completed;

  • Transcript of marks and academic results from previous higher education studies;

  • Motivation letter.

Tuition Fees: 6 000 EUR per year

The tuition fee can be reduced in the closing stages of the study to 300 EUR. Tuition covers the costs of studying at FSV UK, sitting examinations and participating in international student exchanges. There are also scholarships and bursary funding available.
