First Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi visited the Czech Republic

The Czech Minister for European Affairs, Mikuláš Bek, held talks with the Kosovo’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi.

Minister Bek and Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi discussed the perspectives of the EU enlargement process, current situation in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and the negative effects of the current energy crisis. During their meeting, the visa liberalization for Kosovo was discussed more in detail in the context of the Czech presidency of the EU.

This meeting took place as part of the visit of the First Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi to the Czech Republic on 6-7 September. During this visit also the Deputy Minister for European Affairs and Advisor to the Prime Minister for Foreign and Security Affairs Tomáš Pojar met with Besnik Bislimi. At the Institute for European Policy EUROPEUM, the First Deputy Prime Minister presented Kosovo's view on issues of democratization and European integration in the context of current challenges.
