Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli on a two-day working visit to Prague

On June 13, 2019 the first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, together with the Minister for Economic Development Valdrin Lluk, arrived for a two-day working visit to Prague. Minister Pacolli met with his counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Tomáš Petříček. Strengthening bilateral relations with an emphasis on the development of mutual economic relations were the main topics of the joint ministerial meeting. The meeting was followed by a press conference and a business luncheon.

On the same day, Ministers Pacolli and Lluka also met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Karel Havlíček. An inter-ministerial economic cooperation agreement between Kosovo and the Czech Republic was signed after the meeting. The Ministry of Industry and Trade also held a roundtable with the participation of Czech companies that are already active or interested in operating in Kosovo. Minister Pacolli's rich work program ended with a visit to the headquarters of the Czech investment giant "Rockaway Capital", where the company's representatives presented their extensive investment activities in the Republic of Kosovo.

On 14 June 2019, Minister Pacolli was accepted by the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Radek Vondráček and the First Vice-President of the Czech Senate, Jiří Růžička. Minister Pacolli also visited the Vinohrady cemetery where he honored the memory of our first post-revolution president by laying a wreath of flowers at the grave of Václav Havel.
