Head of the Czech Embassy and the Czech KFOR contingent paid a tribute to deceased Czech soldiers

Head of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pristina Pavel Bílek and the Commander of the Czech contingent in KFOR Major Libor Lušovský, together with the members of the Czech contingent, honoured the memory of two tragically deceased Czech soldiers - members of the 1st Czech and Slovak KFOR Battalion Staff Sergeant Luděk Severa and Superintendent Vlastislav Hendrich who died on September 14, 2002 in an accident of an armoured personnel vehicle.

The act of reverence took place at a memorial remembering this tragic event near the former KFOR base in Šajkovac.

Soldiers of the Czech contingent in KFOR and the Embassy of the Czech Republic commemorate this tragic event together every year.
