Head of the Czech Embassy met with Kosovo Forum of Disabled


On December 11, 2019 Head of the Czech Embassy in Pristina, Pavel Bílek, visited Kosovo Disabled Forum.

In his welcoming speech, President of the Kosovo Disabled Forum Bujar Kadriu thanked to the Czech Republic and its institutions for being crucial factor in wellbeing of disabled people. The Czech projects as it stressed by the Executive Director of the Kosovo Association of Blind Mexhit Foniqi and by the Executive Director of the Kosovo Association of Deaf Enver Kurtalani made a big difference in life of quality of those two communities.
 

Head of the Czech Embassy in Pristina Pavel Bílek expressed his happiness experiencing excellent implementation of the Czech funded projects having important impact in education, arts, culture and business. The Czech technology and expertize enabled to create in Kosovo very good base with domestic experts being able to help their communities. In last years, the Czech Republic is also helping in Kosovo to develop legislative related to the disabled people.
 

Members the Board of the Kosovo Forum of Disabled present in a meeting informed Head of the Czech Embassy about the state of respecting of human rights for disabled people in Kosovo. Board members asked Mr. Pavel Bílek and his colleagues from the EU member states to support draft Law on Disabled that is going to be approved in the newly elected parliament.
