Head of the Czech Embassy received by the new Minister of Foreign Affairs

On April 1, 2021, the new Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo Donika Gërvalla received the Head of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pristina Pavel Bílek.

 

Head of the Czech Embassy congratulated Minister on her appointment. During the meeting, they discussed the relations between the two countries and agreed that they provide the prospect of further expansion of cooperation, especially in the economic area. Pavel Bílek emphasized that the Czech government supports the EU enlargement process and the membership of all Western Balkan countries, including Kosovo. He also expressed confidence that the new Kosovo government would swiftly resume the process of domestic reforms, especially in the area of the rule of law and economy. During the discussion on Kosovo-Serbian relations, Pavel Bílek emphasized the need to continue the dialogue between two countries soon after the completing of formation of new Kosovo institutions.
