It was the first time ever that Kosovo pupils participated on the exhibition. Three schools from Gjilan region entered the competition with the total of 24 works of art. The initiator of this year's participation of schools from Kosovo on the ICEFA 2014 was the art teacher Arian Rexhepi.

The head of the Czech Embassy in Pristina was received by headmaster Mr Mustafa Shabani. Mr Šilhavý appreciated the first participation of the Elementary School Liria on the ICEFA 2014, and he appreciated this Honorable Mention received by the pupil of the school. He further stressed the historical context of the exhibition in memory of Lidice children murdered by the Nazis. The headmaster thanked for personal delivery of Honorable Mention by the Head of the Czech Embassy in Pristina, which was for his village school a very important event and also a great motivation for students and teachers. L. Rexhepi took over the Honorable Mention from the hands of Mr I. Šilhavý in the staff room of the school with the participation of headmaster, teachers, pupils and his family.
