The speeches were delivered by Rushdi Shkodra, Chairman of the Bet Israel in Kosovo, and rabbi Yoel Kaplan from Jerusalem, who’s area of responsibility covers, besides Kosovo, also Albania, Macedonia and Greece. In his speech, rabbi Kaplan reminded the audience of bravery of Albanian people who saved thousands of Jews from death, and called upon all communities to live together in peace and love. The event was attended by the German, French, Italian and the Czech Ambassadors and the Hungarian representative.
