The Czech Republic has been for many years providing support to the community of blind citizens in Kosovo. In the past, it has provided significant financial assistance, experts in teaching and orienting the blind, book with Braille letters and specialized computer equipment. In recent years, assistance has also focused on supporting the preparation of the necessary legislative framework. The President of the Kosovo Association of the Blind Daut Tishuki and the Director General in the Office of the Prime Minister Habit Hajredini thanked the Czech Republic for long-term assistance to the blind people in Kosovo. In his speech, the Head of the Czech Embassy emphasized the Czech experience with helping blind citizens, which the Czech Republic is ready to offer abroad as well. Our help to the blind in Kosovo helps them to gain a full-fledge place in society.
