Kosovo alpinists commemorated two killed Czech tourists

On July 5, 2015 the Czech flag was raised on the highest peak of the Albanian Alps named Jezerca (2 694 m) to commemorate two Czech tourists killed in Prekal nearby the town of Shkodra in Albania.

Arben Lila, Chairman of the Kosovo Federation of Mountaineers and Alpinists and head of alpinist group Pashtriku from Gjakova, Kosovo said that all people in Kosovo and Albanians in other countries are deeply shaken by the murder and that at least this way they want to express their solidarity with the victims of the brutal murder and with their relatives. The event took place during a traditional gathering of the alpinists from the Gjakova group Pashtriku and Albanian alpinists from other countries and about 50 people took part in it. The memorial event was initiated by Nentor Oseku from Pashtriku group who made photo-documentation from the whole event as well.
