Meeting of the Head of the Embassy with the Chairman of the Social Democratic Party and the Mayor of Pristina Shpend Ahmeti

Head of the Czech Embassy in Pristina Pavel Bílek met on Thursday August 1 with the Chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Mayor of Pristina Shpend Ahmeti. The discussion focused on cooperation between the Czech Republic and the capital city of Pristina, as well as on the current political situation in Kosovo.
 

The Mayor of Pristina highly appreciated the long-term cooperation with the Czech Republic and the Czech Embassy in Pristina. IVECO buses produced in the Czech Republic contributed to a qualitative change in public transport and they are very popular among the inhabitants of Pristina. Of great importance for Pristina is the project of a biological water treatment plant for the Badovac lake, which is a reservoir of drinking water for the capital (this project worth cca. 700 million EURO was carried out in 2015-18 and was financed from the Czech Development Cooperation).
