On August 5, the official opening of this year's 21st edition took place. Cultural and Commercial Counsellor Květoslav Sulek attended the event on behalf of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pristina, and met the Executive Director of DOKUFEST, Mrs. Linda Gashi.

Three films at DOKUFEST represent the Czech Republic this year. Of these, two films are co-productions - "The Killing of a Journalist" (CZ, Denmark, USA) and "I Am Trying To Remember" (CZ, Iran), and the film " Daises" from 1966 (Czechoslovakia).
