On April 19, 2022, the handing over of diplomas from 49^th Lidice International Art Competition to the students from Kosovo ILG School Prishtina took place at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pristina. The theme of the 2021 year´s competition was ROBOT and artificial intelligence. Pavel Bílek, the Head of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, personally presented the Honorable Mentions to the two children. In addition, the school principal took over another Honorable Mention for the third child, who was unable to attend the ceremony. In his speech, the Head of the Czech Embassy emphasized the historical context of the children´s art competition in memory of the children of Lidice murdered by the Nazis. At the same time, he appreciated the interest of the students in the exhibition, their talents, as well as the support of the competition provided by the principal and teachers. The school principal thanked the Embassy of the Czech Republic for personal handing over diplomas, which became an important event for the school, as it provides great motivation for pupils and teachers to participate in the following years of the competition.
