Prime Minister Mustafa at lunch with EU Heads of Mission

The Prime Minister of the new Kosovo Government Isa Mustafa accepted the invitation by the EU Heads of Missions to a working lunch on 14th of January 2015.

On this occasion, PM Mustafa presented the key priorities of the new Kosovo Government, among which he emphasized the strengthening of economy with the aim of rising GDP, decreasing unemployment and the level of poverty, supporting the small and medium enterprises (SME) and last but not least, encouraging foreign investments. At the same time, the new administration’s goal is, in cooperation with EULEX, to strengthen the rule of law, and fight effectively corruption and organized crime. Heads of Missions welcomed measures prepared by the new government in the context of Kosovo approaching the EU and emphasized the need to achieve concrete results of planned steps soon. In this framework, there was a debate on the public administration reform and the necessity to solve as soon as possible the question of the future of Kosovo’s Power Plant A which is a main polluter of the environment.
