During the meeting, the Head of the Embassy of the Czech Republic praised very good level of relations between the Czech Republic and Kosovo. He also expressed his belief that the intentions of the new government in the economic field will bring new opportunities for cooperation between the Czech and Kosovo companies. The main topics of the meeting included cooperation in the development of the Kosovo energy and mining industry. The Head of the Embassy of the Czech Republic further stated that Czech companies are interested in participating, for example, in the supply of new technologies and equipment for Kosovo power plants to increase their energy efficiency. The needs of Kosovo mining industry, which is struggling with a lack of modern equipment, are also an interesting field for future cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the Head of the Embassy of the Czech Republic handed over to the Kosovo Minister the catalogs of the Czech energy and mining companies - "Czech Power Industry Alliance" and "Czech Mining Technology".
