The Czech Foreign Minister together with members of the Foreign Committee of the Czech Parliament visited Kosovo

On September 29, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský paid a working visit in the Republic of Kosovo. Together with him, members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic visited Pristina - committee chairman Marek Ženíšek, his vice-chairman Petr Beitl and MP Hayato Okamura.

Minister Lipavský visited Kosovo as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country that currently presides over the Council of the EU. The main negotiations took place with the First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue, Besnik Bislimi. The minister was received by Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu and Prime Minister Albin Kurti. The Minister discussed with Kosovo representatives in particular the perspective of Kosovo's European integration, visa liberalization, dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, and energy. Part of his visit to Kosovo was an informal meeting with representatives of Kosovo's youth. The Czech MPs held talks with their Kosovo counterparts - members of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Committee for European Integration, and were also received by the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca.
