This event practically concluded the implementation of the Czech Transition Project aimed at achieving more transparent financing of political entities and political pre-election campaigns in Kosovo. This Project achieved its target success by contributing to the adoption of a new law on the financing of political entities by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in 2022.

The Project was implemented by NGO Transparency International Czech Republic in cooperation with its Kosovo partner, NGO Kosovo Democratic Institute. The participants of the round table were addressed with introductory speeches of the Head of the Czech Embassy in Pristina, Pavel Bílek, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Kreshnik Radoniqi, the Director of Transparency International Czech Republic, Ondřej Kopečný and by the Executive Director of the Kosovo Democratic Institute, Ismet Kryeziu.
