On December 2, 2019 Head of the Czech Embassy in Pristina, Mr. Pavel Bilek, met with Executive Director of the Kosovo most known humanitarian organization Mother Teresa, Mr. Zef Shala.

Mother Tereza’s executive director thanked Head of the Czech Embassy for continues support of the Czech Republic for Kosovo people in decades. Mr. Shala used this opportunity to inform Mr. Bilek on results of the recent project Local Policies in Multiethnic Municipalities in Kosovo that was funded by Czech funds for transition cooperation.

Head of the Czech Embassy in Pristina, Pavel Bilek, said that Municipalities serve as the best barometer of the real will of people and public administration for the inclusion of all communities in the social life.

The goal of the current project is to help municipalities and Kosovo Government for better inclusion of none majority communities in the local level.

The project was developed through research in Fushë Kosova, Novo Bërdo and Klina municipalities. Qualitative research and debates done by experts with municipal actors enabled Kosovo local and central authorities better understanding of needs, importance and ways how to develop strategies of policies for the interest of all communities living there.
