Small Local Project is going to assist handicapped children in Prizren

On April 13, 2015 Mr. Ivo Šilhavý, Czech Ambassador to Kosovo, signed a contract with Ms. Violeta Ferati, representative of the NGO Caritas Kosova, concerning Small Local Project implementation. Project „Center for Early Childhood Education and Care for Children with Disabilities in Prizren“ financed from Czech development cooperation fund is focused on skills development of handicapped children, therapeutic care, and expert support of families in Municipality of Prizren.
Project builds on previous and ongoing Czech projects in Kosovo in the area of assistance to handicapped people and minority communities. In 2015 there have been another two small local projects in Kosovo supported from the Czech Republic Development Cooperation Fund – Resource Center functioning within the Peja School for Blind, and Free Time Center in Mitrovica North.
