The project builds on the ongoing construction of the sewerage network financed by Kosovo. A part of the project will also be a  training of local operators, a supply of laboratory equipment and an extensive awareness and education campaign in the adjacent municipalities and schools.

The Ceremonial laying of the foundation stone at the tributary to Lake Badovac was opened by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Pristina Mr. Ivo Šilhavý.
