Czech equipment for Kosovo B Power Plant

On January 28, 2016 a new magnetic separator produced by a Czech company WAMAG was installed in the Kosovo B Power Plant in Obilić nearby Pristina in the separation zone between the brown coal mine and the plant itself.

The plant is in operation since 1981. This technological supply is already a second magnetic separator delivered by this Czech company to the Kosovo B Power Plant.  Among suppliers of technological equipment for the separation zone there are also other Czech companies: PRODECO from Bílina and ABB Brno. Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kosovo Ivo Šilhavý visited on January 29, 2016 the separation zone of the plant and was informed by Kosovo company Ekoinvest experts about further opportunities for Czech companies in Kosovo B power plant (2 units, set in operation 1983-1984) and Kosovo A  power plant (5 units, set in operation 1962-1975).
