On 25^th April, representatives of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (KCC), headed by their president Safet Gerxhaliu, met with the representatives of the Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce (RHK Brno), headed by director of the RHK Brno, Čeněk Absolon. The meeting was also attended by the director of the Hodonín District Chamber of Commerce Michal Švagerka and the Commercial and Economic Diplomat of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pristina Vítězslav Pur. The representatives of chambers talked about the activities of their chambers, about the structure and numbers of members and the areas of interest in which they would like to develop further cooperation. President of the KCC Mr. Gerxhaliu invited at the end of the meeting representatives of RHK Brno with other Czech companies to Kosovo. President of the KCC Mr. Gerxhaliu proposed the organization of an economic forum between Czech and Kosovo companies, signing a memorandum of cooperation between the KCC and the RHK Brno and presenting Czech solutions in the field of smart city for mayors of Kosovo cities.

On 26^th April the Contact Forum was held at the premises of the RHK Brno, attended by representatives of both Chambers Safet Gerxhaliu and Čeněk Absolon, Head of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in the Czech Republic Chargé d affaires Arber Vllahiu, Commercial and Economic Diplomat of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pristina Vítězslav Pur, Czech companies (EBN-FAMILY, PRAMOS, ELEKTRO-LUMEN, ASIO NEW, Czech-Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, GEOtest, META IT, JOB-CONSULT, ECOLOGIC) and employees of the RHK Brno.

During the next B2B meetings with representatives of the KCC had the representatives of the Czech companies the opportunity to discuss specific ideas, possibilities of cooperation with Kosovo companies and help of KCC by finding suitable partners in Kosovo. The present representatives of Czech companies GEOtest and JOB-CONSULT shared with the Czech companies their personal business experience in Kosovo and in the countries of the Western Balkan. They have consistently stated that the commercial and economic reality in Kosovo is much better than the current image of the country. The Contact Forum on April 26, 2018 was interpreted into the Czech and Albanian languages.
