On May 7, Pavel Bílek, Head of the Czech Embassy in Kosovo, visited the construction site of the new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) near Přistina. The project is being built by the Kosovo company Project Plus together with its Czech business partner, the company TopolWater, which supplies the technological part of the WWTP.
He received information about the technical parameters of the new WWTP. It is being built for the use of 2,400 inhabitants of a nearby housing estate together with the also by employees of a nearby television company. The project, where the computer-controlled operation optimizes the operation of the treatment plant depending on the amount of wastewater, meets the most modern ecological and economic parameters. The technology used minimizes electricity consumption and maintenance and service costs.
