Czech taekwondo athletes triumph at World ITF Championship in DPRK

Members of the Czech ITF Taekwondo Association competed in ITF Taekwondo World Championship in Pyongyang, DPRK. Our athletes have earned a well-deserved bronze medal, and thus became the world's 3rd best team.

Czech delegation has claimed 11 medals in total, including 2 gold, 2 silver and 7 bronze ones. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pyongyang and the Ambassador Milan Hupcej had the pleasure of hosting a celebratory lunch for the athletes before their return trip back home. The delegation was headed by President of the Czech ITF Taekwondo Association Ing. Marek Lazor, and one of the team's bronze medals has been hanged at the Embassy to mark this occasion. Heartfelt congratulations to all the athletes for this success!
