As part of export promotion activities, the Czech Embassy in Amman organized an event to showcase the Czech glass and crystal in Jordan. Several famous Czech glass and crystal making companies, among them Preciosa, Crystalite Bohemia, Royal Crystal or Blažek Glass, brought samples of their production to this event.

In view of the possibilities of regional cooperation between the Czech embassies abroad, the Czech Representative Office in Ramallah took the opportunity of the presence of Czech companies in Amman and facilitated the participation of a delegation of Palestinian businessmen at this event. During the business event, the Czech companies presented their businesses as well as products and held individual B2B discussions with potential Jordanian and Palestinian customers.

As part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia, the grand hall of the W Amman hotel was decorated with Czech glass and crystal products making the venue even more beautiful for the national anniversary reception which followed the business event.
