The very pleasant weather attracted thousands of local visitors as well as foreign tourists to the Manger Square, located in the historic center of Bethlehem, in front of the Church of the Nativity. They had the opportunity to taste not only traditional specialties offered mainly by European diplomatic missions in Palestine, but also to buy Christmas decorations and small gifts, and especially to enjoy the pre-Christmas atmosphere and spend a nice day with their families and friends under the newly decorated Christmas tree.

The Czech stand was in siege, not only thanks to the Pilsner Urquell beer, which was a significant attraction but also because of the mouthwatering Christmas cookies made by the wifes and children of the diplomat’s families.
