A non-governmental organization established in 1925 is providing support to children and adults with disabilities in two branches in Ramallah. Apart from general education, the center’s clients also receive speech or physical therapy. Furthermore, the center runs a workshop that produces wooden educational toys or furniture which are used in schools and nurseries across Palestine. Through the Czech development cooperation project, the Annahda Women’s Association will purchase more machines and other equipment to be used in the workshop, thereby supporting the employment of persons with disabilities.
