The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Bethlehem Kamel Humeid, the Director General of the Palestinian Civil Defence General Yousef Nassar, the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Bethlehem Samir Hazbun, as well as the Head of the Representative Office Petr Starý. The keys to the large-capacity tanker with chassis made by the Czech Tatra company were handed over by General Drahoslav Ryba, Director General of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic.

The event attracted great interest of the Palestinian media. After the handover, General Ryba was interviewed by several of them, including the official television station Palestine TV.
