Orphaned children to benefit from the proceeds of the charity Christmas market

As has become customary, the proceeds from the Czech stall at the charity Christmas market in Bethlehem have been donated to a local institution taking care of children in need.
The staff of the Czech Representative Office visited La Creche, an orphanage in Bethlehem established in 1883 and managed by the Daughters of the Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. Mother Superior Denise has welcomed the donation and expressed appreciation for the Czech support to the children’s home which is currently taking care of 45 children from birth to the age of 5.
