Recital at the Edward Said Conservatory

On 17th June, a recital was held in Ramallah at the Edward Said Conservatory. The recital was performed by a young pianist Filip Martinka who played compositions by Haydn, Chopin, Smetana, Ravel and Rachmaninoff for the audience.

At the beginning of the recital a welcome speech was given branch director I. Remawi. He praised Martinka and was impressed that he has achieved many successes at such a young age.

After the introductory speech Martinka gave compositions by Haydn, Chopin, Smetana, Ravel and Rachmaninoff. The recital was attended by students and teachers from the conservatory and graduates of Czech universities. Rima Tarazi and Nadia Abashi who are both founders of the Conservatory also attended the concert. The top performance of Martinka was appreciated by the audience with huge applause.
