Consular Section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Latvia

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riga kindly requests all clients to follow the latest information on the website of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riga. All clients must make an appointment prior to their visit at the consular section of the Embassy.

ATTENTION – Limited services of the Consular department due to COVID-19

Due to epidemiological situation related to COVID-19 and in accordance with the measures aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19, the Embassy of the Czech Republic restricts public access to the Consular Section. This restriction will be valid until further notice. Only services to the citizens of the Czech Republic, especially emergency assistance, are provided without any change.

In case of urgent matters please contact us preferably by e-mail consulate_riga@mzv.cz (or by phone +371 6733 8179) and describe your request in detail. The clients will be allowed to come to the Consulate only after confirmation of appointmet made through the mentioned e-mail.

When at the Consular Section, it is necessary to follow the hygienic measures (wear a facemask or a respirator and use of hand disinfectant). The clients who suffer from symptoms of a respiratory illness are asked strictly NOT to come to the Consulate.

Applicants will be allowed to enter only with the nose and mouth covered by a face mask or other suitable means 

Only one applicant will be allowed to enter the waiting room of the consular section at the time of previously made appointment.
