Embassy of the Czech Republic has the honor to announce the event commemorating the 130th anniversary of birth of Karel Čapek, one of the most important Czech writers and public persons. The event will take place on Friday February 21, 2020, at 17h in the Academic Library of the University of Latvia. The co-organizers are the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Latvia, Centre of the Cultural Dialogue of the Academic Library of the University of Latvia, Centre of Czech and Polish studies of the University of Latvia and the Latvian-Czech group of friendship.
