At the beginning of May, a chamber, but still very ceremonial, handover of a fleet of 45 new fully electric Enyaq iV crossovers in the highest equipment and in the colors of the championship took place with the participation of representatives of the Czech Embassy in Latvia. During an hour-long meeting in front of the main hockey hall of Arena Rīga, a video was created in which, in addition to the manager of the Auto 100 company, Mr. Māris Jansons, and the head of the Latvian organizing committee, Mr. Edgars Buncis, the Czech Ambassador to Latvia, Mrs. Jana Hynková, also spoke. In her contribution, she emphasized the importance of Škoda Auto a. s. as one of the most important traditional Czech exporters and described its products as the "family silver" of the Czech Republic. At the same time, she appreciated the innovative approach and the constant development of new technologies with a view to a “green” future.  

The company Škoda Auto a. s. has a very good reputation in Latvia and its distributor Auto 100 is one of the most dynamic in the company's distribution network. Škoda cars have long been at the top of the list of new cars sold in Latvia, and of course, the goal is the overall victory. In 2020, the Škoda brand shared second place with its concern "brother" Volkswagen, and already at the beginning of 2021, Škoda Octavia was the best-selling type of new car. New technologies also have a promising future in Latvia. As confirmed by the manager of Auto 100, Mr. Māris Jansons, the Latvian customer is tuned to the use of greener technologies and also the logistical support in Latvia is growing to ensure the trouble-free operation of electric cars.
