Working Visit of Members of the Standing Senate Commission on Media to Latvia from 15 to 17 November, 2017.

On 15-17 November 2017, Daniela Filipiová, Jan Horník and Zuzana Baudyšová, the members of the Standing Senate Commission on Media of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, visited Latvia.
On Thursday, November16, the delegation met with the representatives of the Latvian Ministry of Culture and representatives of Saeima including Inese Laizāne, chairwoman of the Committee on Human Rights and Public Affairs. The negotiations were useful to both sides, Czech and Latvian, as was confirmed by the desire of both parties to continue the mutual cooperation in the future.
On Friday, November 17, the delegation visited the National Council for Electronic Media and met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Latvian Television and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Latvian Radio.
