On Friday, March 23, the  representatives of the Study in Prague program (a program associating seven Prague universities - Charles University, University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, Czech University of Life Science in Prague, University of Economics in Prague, Czech Technical University, Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) visited the Riga Central Culture College and the Riga Hansa Secondary School. Representatives of Prague's universities presented to Riga high school students seven major Prague universities, their study programs as well as Prague as a safe, interesting, pulsating place for study and out-of-school activities. The lectures were also focused on the evaluation of high rate of the prestigious employment after the graduation of these prestigious Prague universities. Representatives of Prague universities visited the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riga in the afternoon and met the representatives of the embassy. On Saturday, March 24, representatives of the University of Prague attended the BCIE: Days of International Education in Radisson Blu Latvija, Riga. During the day, the  team discussed with the students interested in bachelor, master and doctoral degree studies at Prague universities. Part of the students were interested in specialized courses and the possibility to study not only in English but also in Czech. The fair was also attended by members of the Latvian - Czech Society.
The representatives of the embassy, in collaboration with the Study in Prague team, will continue to seek to develop cooperation with secondary and high schools in Latvia.
