Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the successful cultural cooperation between the Czech Republic and Latvia and expressed hope for the successful continuation of the joint projects. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation in the field of cinematography, literature and fine arts.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Miroslav Kosek presented the Latvian translation of the book Lake (Jezero) by the Czech writer Bianca Bellová. The book has won the Magnesia Litera 2017 in the category of Book of the Year and the European Union Prize for Literature.
