On March 29, 2019, the members of the Czech judo club TJ Sokol Vršovice visited the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riga

Ambassador Miroslav Kosek at a friendly and informal atmosphere of the meeting at the embassy and later at the tournament in Jurmala wished the young athletes and their coaches good luck and new victories. This team raised several Czech Olympians. In 2018, TJ Sokol Judo Vršovice won the Czech Extraliga.

 

Young athletes participated in the 8th Judo International Tournament "YOUNG STARS JURMALA 2019 "on 30th - 31st March in Jurmala. In tough competition, our young judo sportsmen have done well! They won one gold (Zuzana Sadílková), three silver (Anička Kroužková, Eliška Kvěchová, Karolína Kadlecová) and three bronze medals (Lada Vondráková, Martin Sedlák, Jakub Svoboda).
