At the the Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum the delegates of 23 member states and observers took part, between them 12 ministers. Forum was focused especially on carbon capture and storage. Minister Mládek pointed in his speach out, that the Czech Republic considers to get the member of CSLH and expressed his appraisal to the activity of both organizing countries, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the USA.

The whole week of the forum, i.e. its experts´ part, was attended by the Director of Resources Policy of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Mr. Pavel Kavina.

Part of the delegates visited also Saudi Aramco. The delegation was lead by H.E. Minister of Pertoleum and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al Naimi and H.E. Secretary of Energy of the USA Mr. Ernest Moniz accompanied by H.E. Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Mr. J. Mládek. Minister Mládek met also the top management of the Saudi Aramco company incl. its CEO Mr. Amin Nasser.

During his stay in the Kingdom Minister Mládek also met the members of the Czech-Saudi Business Chamber as well as the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Jeddah Mr. Hussein Shobokshi
