On the occasion of Day of Europe it has become a tradition for the European embassies to organize a festival of cultural events in the month of May, under the patronage of the Delegation of European Union to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During this year´s festival, the Czech Republic was represented the Czech pianist Martin Hršel who introduced to the Saudi audience the best of the European and Czech classical music. His concerts were organized in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union and the Embassy of the Polish Republic in Riyadh. Further, the Czech Republic presented its traditional costumes from the Brno region at the Exhibition of traditional European clothing which took place on May 10-17 at the Kingdom Centre (Almamlaka Shopping Centre).
