The event was opened by welcoming speaches of the President of the Oman Cancer Association Dr. Wahid Al-Kharousi and Commercial Counsellor of the Czech Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Mr. Petr Hošťálek. The venue was visited by number of high ranking officials of the Omani political scene (e.g. Deputy Chairman of Majlis A´Shura H.E. Mohammed abubakar Salim Al-Ghassani and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), top businessmen and eminent personalities (doctors and managers) from the hospitals in Oman. Top Czech designer Pavel Šťastný (www.plecharna.cz) unveiled together with Prof. Al-Mandhary the result of the project "Future of Care" special hospital bed of Linet "Giraffe". Event was covered by high number of Omani media.
